SAFRUDI Commemorates 60 Years of Service and Impact
Today, August 17, SAFRUDI celebrated its 60th Founding Anniversary at Casa Havana in Sta. Ana, Manila. The gathering brought together current and former team members, the board of trustees, producers, artisans, partners, and friends to commemorate six decades of service and impact.
The event began with a Holy Mass led by Fr. Guido Everaert, followed by an inspirational message from Dr. Mina Ramirez, former Corporate Secretary and Vice President of SAFRUDI. Attendees shared refreshments while reflecting on the organization's history and milestones.
During the celebration, the Gabay sa Bagong Pag-asa groups and SAFFY producers were recognized for their valuable contributions. The event also marked Sister Juliaan Mullie’s birth anniversary and concluded with a message from SAFRUDI President, Mr. Jose M. Diokno.
Sixty years later, SAFRUDI remains dedicated to fulfilling the mission shaped by Sister Juliaan Mullie's vocation: “Fight Hunger Through Work.”
