Antique Philippine prints - including one (1st) of the historically most significant antique prints - the FIRST depiction of a Filipino in print - a native of Capul Island (Northern Samar). Their traditional full body tattoos gave these early Filipinos the nickname "los pintados" ("the painted ones") - the term used by Spanish colonizers to describe the heavily tattooed, indigenous people of the Philippines, specifically in the Visayas Islands.
Museum grade reproductions in wooden, vintage frames - hand made in the Philippines.
