Sigma Foundry Corporation (SFC) was established on June 1979 in Brgy. Initially, we manufactured copper alloy extrusions for industrial and furniture applications. After 3 years of operation, we move to our new location in R.T. Colina Ext, Mandaue giving the employees an ideal work environment. We take pride to be the first in the Philippines to use the state of the art fully AUTOMATED CONTINUOUS
CASTING MACHINE, and induction furnace to provide the best quality for local and export markets. In 1996, we expanded our operations to brass forging. We opened the market for world-class, high strength valve and cutting equipment for compressed gas manufacturing and automotive parts
industry. Despite the Asian financial crisis that gripped much of Asia beginning in July 1997, Sigma Foundry maintain its profitability and avoid any worker layoffs. As the new millennium begins, we explored new opportunities to produce architectural, industrial, and furniture profiles in 2001. We once again become the first foundry in the Philippines to acquire new technology in SEMI-AUTOMATIC CONTINUOUS CASTING. 2007 saw the introduction of a new process which includes anodizing window and construction profile. In 2008, both financial crisis and the downturn in the U.S. economy affected the furniture exporters of the Philippines. Despite the severe decline in the U.S. housing market, Sigma Foundry Corp. was kept afloat by diversifying to the local market. The immediate success of Sigma Foundry’s low-cost, high-quality jalousie soon caused the company’s owner to consider increasing its production facilities. Our company has a complete line of anodized architectural aluminum profiles. We developed aluminum die-casting which includes motorcycle parts and aluminum foundation vent exported to Baltimore, USA, the air condition capital of the world. In 2010, the company was able to lower the per-unit cost and make pre-fabricated windows, once a luxury item for the wealthy, affordable to all. To further enhance our market share in the competitive architectural industry, we launched a new branding campaign in 2011 – ALUPRIME, that featured premium aluminum product lines for our high-end clients. Looking to expand its Construction market, SFC in 2013 acquired the 1350 UST line. It continues to introduce new products like aluminum beam construction formworks and curtain wall profiles. Presently, our company sits on a two-hectare manufacturing plant. With approximately 150 experienced and skilled workers in both brass and aluminum departments, SFC remains committed to the vision and values it has embraced so many years ago.
