"Chameleon at its Hub"

Amid a pandemic, we are forced to stay at home to keep safe, and this has indeed changed the way we live and reshaped interior design. For example, looking for and creating a recreational area where people can spend hours during lockdowns.

As we all know, a chameleon blends well with its nature. The designer opts to use it as a concept and translate it into a design for a residential kitchen: to create an interior space that adapts accordingly to its surroundings. Whereas the users' familiarity with the space and existing features of the interior remains. Moreover, the designer will transform the kitchen to adapt to the new normal such as providing additional working tables to disinfect new groceries, as well as providing a space that reflects the household's interests and an additional leisure area.

Furthermore, the designer studied the space by knowing all the hobbies of the users, how the household goes grocery shopping, to how they utilize their kitchen so that the designer would be able to distinguish what was lacking and what needs focus. The design aims to utilize every inch of the space by creating effective storage additional working stations for baking and minimum cooking. The overall design aims to lift the household's mood when they pass by the kitchen space and motivate them while organizing as well as for leisure such as baking.

"Serenity’s Haven"

Serenity’s Haven means “a safe and peaceful place” escaping the bustling life of the city, these concept has an influence of coastal theme design with simple characteristics. Blue is the dominant color, representing the color of the sea, and it also helps to soothe the heart. Adding white and brown neutrals help in creating a breezy ambiance in the room that feels light and comfortable.
