RVR Interior Design Firm is based in Marikina City and has been in operation since 2011. Our team is composed of Interior Designers who have graduated from the University of Sto. Reyes a member of the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers and has been practicing Interior Design for the past 15 years. We have been privileged to design residential, commercial and institutional projects in Metro Manila and nearby cities.

TIPS TO ACHIEVE BIOPHILIC DESIGN N YOUR HOME

1. Incorporating plants into interior spaces enhances both aesthetics and well being by purifying the air, reducing stress, and improving mood.

2. Use natural materials such as wood, stone, rattan and bamboo. Choose organic textiles like cotton, wool, or linen for curtains, upholstery, and rugs.

3. Enhance airflow and ventilation by keeping windows open whenever possible and integrating cross-ventilation in your layout.

4. Create nature views by arranging furniture to face windows with outdoor view.

5. Use nature-inspired color palette and add textures and patterns that mimic nature like leaf motifs and woodgrain.

6. Use organic shapes in choosing furniture and accessories. Avoid overly rigid or harsh geometries when possible.

TIPS TO ACHIEVE SPACIOUSNESS REGARDLESS OF THE SIZE OF OUR HOMES:

1. Place large furniture pieces against the wall to create more space.

2. Place large mirrors on the walls to give an illusion of space.

3. Place your window treatment closest to the ceiling to give an illusion of height to a space

4. Underbed storage ideas are a lifeline for small houses with limited storage.

5. De-clutter and organize.

6. Keep surfaces such as countertops and desks free from belonging to reduce visual noise.
