Artsy String Fiber Designs is inspired by a fiber artist who just learned crochet a few years back. It started out as a mere curiosity of intricate designs from vintage doilies to crafting simple things such as beanies and mug cozies. Eventually, crochet not only became a hobby but a therapeutic activity - one's ME time away from the hustle and bustle of the busy world. As I become more familiar w

ith the craft, it became almost second nature to be fascinated with different fibers - their texture, colors, designs, what they are best used for as well as the best way to care for those precious fibers. From then on, it sparked another kind of curiosity - 'WHAT WOULD IT BE LIKE TO DESIGN MY OWN YARN?'

Hence, from Le Crochete to Artsy String PH, and now ARTSY STRING FIBER DESIGNS, my craft, OUR craft, is continuously evolving to bring out fiber designs that does not only go along with the color theory, but DEFIES it - in a beautiful, surreal, and calming yet explosive way.
