Inside Hue Hotels and Resorts Siargao , the design language continues from architecture to interiors: soft, curved, and wave-inspired. The rooms were designed as a continuation of the resort’s exterior forms, where curved elements flow inward to echo the rhythm of the ocean and create a more seamless connection between the built space and the island setting. While the interiors remain minimalist and calm, they still carry Hue’s own unique character: warm, refined, and quietly expressive.

Within the room’s spatial constraints, every built-in, furniture piece, and finish was carefully considered to merge function and aesthetics. The goal was to create an elevated guest experience that feels comfortable, efficient, and uncluttered, while still offering a distinct sense of place.

Sustainability and resilience are also part of the design story. Concrete structural elements were intentionally used for durability and typhoon resilience, especially in response to Siargao’s climate, while softer natural accents such as bamboo were incorporated in protected interior applications to bring warmth, texture, and a connection to local craft. Mineral-based paints were also used to support healthier indoor air quality and a more eco-conscious interior environment.

A room designed not only for beauty, but for comfort, longevity, resilience, and calm, where every curve, material, and detail flows with the spirit of Siargao.

Hue Hotels and Resorts Siargao is finally soft opening its doors! From early concepts to completed spaces, this resort development was designed as a thoughtful response to island living, one that embraces the ocean, the wind, the landscape, and the community around it.

The design highlights include open and breezy tropical spaces, wave-inspired rooflines, preserved native trees, PWD-friendly pathways from the entrance to the shoreline, public beach access, natural light-filled rooms, bamboo accents crafted with local artisans, and landscaped pockets that soften the transition between architecture and nature.

Built with resiliency and long-term sustainability in mind, Hue Siargao also integrates eco-conscious initiatives such as a desalination system, passive airflow, natural daylighting, recycled mineral-based paints, and future garden spaces envisioned to support fresh produce for the resort.

More than a place to stay, Hue Siargao is envisioned as a destination that honors the spirit of Siargao — open, rooted, warm, and deeply connected to nature.

Our first glimpse of , now softly opening its doors.

Designed to frame the island’s natural rhythm, the waves, the horizon, the light, and the quiet pauses in between. A place where architecture, interiors, and the ocean come together to create a stay that feels calm, grounded, and deeply connected to Siargao.

Grateful to finally see this vision come alive!

Rooted in the natural rhythm of Siargao, this resort is envisioned as a quiet expression of tropical luxury, where architecture, interiors, and landscape move together in one seamless dialogue.

As an inland resort development, the project is designed to help expand tourism beyond the island’s coastal zones while maintaining a strong connection to nature. Through landscape-sensitive planning, natural ventilation, shading strategies, and climate-responsive architecture, the resort supports a more distributed and resilient tourism model, reducing pressure on beachfront areas while creating a new destination experience within the island.

From the arrival lounge to the restaurant and private villas, every space is shaped with soft curves, layered textures, natural materials, and gentle transitions. Bamboo, wood, stone, light-toned finishes, and sculpted forms create an atmosphere that feels minimalist yet warm, refined yet grounded.

The villa interiors take their cue from the architecture itself, clean, calm, and uncluttered, allowing light, volume, and nature to become part of the experience.

Designed not simply to be seen, but to be felt, this is a boutique sanctuary where interiors breathe, architecture softens, and nature remains the true centerpiece.

House of C draws inspiration from the design language of the owners’ love for automobiles, expressed through a bold cantilevered form, clean aerodynamic lines, and a roof profile that seems to glide above the structure.

Despite its strong architectural character, the home is carefully planned around everyday family life, balancing privacy, comfort, and connection. Feng Shui principles were thoughtfully integrated into the orientation, flow, and spatial relationships, resulting in a layout that feels both harmonious and highly functional.

With both Architecture and Interiors designed as one integrated package, the project benefits from a more seamless dialogue between outside and inside. Facade, space planning, and interior atmosphere are considered in tandem—resulting in a home that feels cohesive, intentional, and complete.

They often say, “think outside the box.” But what if you are handed the box itself and asked to create beauty from within its existing limits?

Design is not always about starting from scratch. Sometimes, it is about working within what is already there and finding ways to bring out its full potential.

Swipe to the last photo to see the original “box” we were given. Were we able to think beyond the box while still honoring its constraints? We’d like to think so. It was a joy to help bring our client’s vision to life, transforming their home into a space rooted in modern contemporary design with a subtle touch of modern transitional—adding character, warmth, and a sense of timelessness while thoughtfully responding to their needs and requirements.

A multifunction Pavilion designed with a soaring sense of height, creating an atmosphere that feels graceful, uplifting, and almost heavenward. In the wake of recent calamities that have tested Cebu’s resilience, this project stands as a reminder that progress and preservation must go hand in hand.

As we call for accountability for the failures that led to devastating floods, we must also look inward — have we cared for the forests, watersheds, and mountains that once protected us? Have our developments respected nature’s rhythm, or have we built against it?

At M+S Studio Co., we believe design should heal, not harm.
For Lantaw Maribago, every curve, elevation, and structure was designed with intention — to coexist with nature, not overpower it.

The restaurant sits elevated, allowing rising waters to flow freely below while providing functional space for vehicles. Its main materials — bamboo and steel — balance sustainability and strength, capable of swaying with the earth during typhoons or tremors.

Bamboo, being a regenerative material, spares our slow-growing trees and supports reforestation efforts — an act of giving back to the land that sustains us.

The architecture celebrates the harmony between resilience and beauty — a reflection of Cebu’s spirit.
Because true progress is not about how high we build,
but how deeply we stay rooted in nature’s wisdom. 🌱
