YOUR TITLE TO MY CHILD DOESN'T MAKE YOU ENTITLED TO MY CHILD โผ๏ธ
Mother-in-law, Maybe this is the part you don't want to hear, but you need to, and this isn't anger anymore. This is clarity.
Maybe you still don't understand why the door closed. So let me make it painfully simple:
Being a grandmother does not give you ownership of my child!
Please don't post my baby just to make people believe you're the loving, involved grandmother while pretending the past never happened.
You cannot disrespect the parents in private and then display the baby in public as proof of love.
I haven't forgotten the things you said and did to your own daughter while she was pregnant.
I remember how you treated your own daughter, the mother of my child.
I remember how you spoke to me and your daughter
I remember how you treated me and your daughter
I remember the words that were so cruel I still wonder how a mother could say them to her own child:
"BUTI NGA NANGYARI SAYO YAN"
PS:My wife literally died on the operating table during an emergency C-section, while our tiny preemie daughter fought for her life beside her. They walked through the valley of the shadow of death, faced the ultimate battle between life and death, and by God's grace, they won.
The words that are almost impossible for a husband like me to forget!
"BUTI NGA NANGYARI SAYO YAN"
Imagine saying those words to my wife, your own daughter who was fight just to stay alive. Friends, Clients, Relatives not Relatives etc.l nagdasal, nag-alala.
I remember what you did 1 hour before ko dalin ang Asawa ko sa Hospital, pagmumurahin nanaman at Itakwil nanaman. After 2 hours Mumurahin mo ako at sasabihing dapat ako ang nasa kalagayan nya? After what you've done hours ago Playing and you want to look like the loving mother?
PAANO MO NAATIM SABIHIN YUN?
How do you expect a husband to forget the words spoken to the woman he loves-especially when those words came from her own mother?
You said things that were so painful and difficult to swallow, especially to your own daughter while she was carrying your grandchild and after birth
How can someone claim to love a child while showing so much disrespect toward the child's own mother and father? Hindi mo puwedeng bastusin ang mommy at daddy, tapos kapag may baby na, biglang "I love my Apo."
You disrespected the parents, yet somehow expect respect in return.
And now you want to post my baby like everything is perfect?
So when you say you love the baby, forgive me if I don't simply believe the words.
Love isn't a Facebook post. I don't measure love by captions. I measure it by how you treat the child's parents when nobody is watching.
And somehow, after all of that, you still expect me to look at a picture of you with my baby and suddenly forget everything?
No.
Hindi ako ganoon kadaling lokohin. You can smile for the camera.
I remember what happened when there was no camera.
You can write "my grandchild."
I remember how you treated the child's mother!
You can say "I love my baby."
I remember the way you treated the parents.
That's why your words don't move me anymore. Because love without respect is nothing but a performance.
And the saddest part?
You keep demanding respect as if the title "mother" or "grandmother" automatically erases every hurtful thing you've done. It doesn't.
Being someone's mother doesn't give you permission to destroy their peace.
Being someone's grandmother doesn't give you ownership of their child.
Being family doesn't give you unlimited access.
Blood creates a connection. Respect creates a relationship.
And you destroyed the second one yourself.
Don't blame us for the distance you created. You built the wall. We simply stopped tearing it down for you and don't mistake our silence for weakness. I have the messages.
Lahat.
I could put them all out. Every word. Every conversation. Every disrespectful message.
people ask:
Every sentence that would make
"How could a mother say this to her own daughter?"
But I won't, not because I'm afraid of what people will think, My silence is restraint, not weakness. My forgiveness, if it ever comes, will never mean forgetting.
And please read Slowly 5x and understand this
YOUR TITLE TO MY CHILD DOES NOT MAKE YOU ENTITLED TO MY CHILD!
You are a grandmother because of a family connection. But access to my child is a privilege not a birthright.
We are the parents. We decide. We protect. We set the boundaries.
And when those boundaries are ignored, we don't owe anyone an explanation for the distance that follows.
The people who know, know! And the people who don't, don't need to.
You didn't lose access to our child because we are cruel. You lost it because you repeatedly showed us why you could not be trusted with access.
You demand respect while disrespecting us. You demand a place while ignoring boundaries.
You claim love while hurting the very people connected to the child you claim to love.
Our baby is not your social media prop.
Our baby is not your way back into our lives.
Our baby is not a bridge over boundaries you deliberately crossed.
If you truly love my child, respect my wife. Respect me. Respect the parents.
Because you don't get to treat the parents like enemies in private and claim the child like family in public.
And maybe this is the truth you need to wake up to:
You didn't lose access because we hate you. You lost access because you were given boundaries and chose to ignore them.
So post whatever picture you want.
A picture can show you holding my baby. It cannot prove you deserve to.
And people who know the real story? They don't need a caption.
Some people know the story. Some people know the messages and some people don't need to know anything because we already know enough!
