There’s a saying: It takes a village to raise a child.
But what happens when the village forgets how to be a village?
When neighbors live side by side but never truly know each other.
When doors stay closed and conversations grow silent.
When we pass by each other but never utter a word.
Children are always watching. They learn from what we do far more than what we say.
A small smile and act of kindness can go a long way.
So if a village shapes a child, we have to ask ourselves something uncomfortable:
What kind of village are we becoming… and what kind of example are we leaving for the next generation?
The world doesn’t need a perfect village.
It just needs people that are compassionate, kind, and concerned for each others welfare.
Today, just try one small act of kindness. Even a smile can make someones day brighter.🌱💕
