| Volume of Fisheries Production by subsector for Q2 2026 🎣🇵🇭

According to the Philippine Statistics Authority’s Fisheries Situation Report, the Philippines recorded an impressive 1,026,741.00 metric tons (MT) of fisheries production in the 2nd Quarter of 2026, showing an impressive 2.0% increase compared with the same quarter last year.

Aquaculture led the way with 460,933.55 MT, accounting for 44.9% of the total production.

Next was commercial fisheries with 272,874.19 MT. This is approximately 26.6% of the total volume.

Followed by marine municipal fisheries posted a whopping 18.8% increase with 247,349.26 MT equivalent to 24.1% share to the total quarter’s volume.

Meanwhile, inland municipal fisheries contributed 45,583.99 MT, which is 4.4% of the quarter’s total volume, marking a 4.8% increase.
