"A mother's love is an undying love." 🤍

This new commissioned portrait of mine has a truly touching story behind it.
A client reached out to ask if I can paint her angel baby as a remembrance, since he did not survive. 🥺🕊️

And her simple request is to paint him as real as I can, bringing her baby to life through a painting. 🎨
With sensitive & heartbreaking photos of her baby, it was enough for me to turn it into a beautiful piece.

My heart goes out to all moms who lost a child, and to anyone who lost someone truly special. 🫂
I'm still happy with how this turned out, with my client loving her son's portrait! 🥺🤍

Truly an honor to be the one creating such important artworks.

Hundreds of paintings created in almost 5 years! 🎨❤️

Being a full-time artist has been such a fulfilling journey for me.
Hosting painting workshops, travelling for live painting sessions, and even been featured on TV; never have I ever pictured these to happen upon embracing my passion. 🥹❤️

But of course, I'm sure all other artists out there can relate to the cons of turning your hobby into your job. 😅
Doing it everyday can burn out the fun & freedom from creating.
It can feel like a routine, especially under pressure or a deadline. Not to mention the physical toll it brings! 😮‍💨

That's why taking a break is important. 🤍
Whatever your job may be, working non-stop cannot bring us to our life goals if our mental & physical health is at stake.

For this Labor Day, let's all continue to chase our dreams but still remember to take a break, too! 🤗
So that our hard work would definitely pay off. 🤍
