It’s beginning to feel a little like Christmas! ❄️💙

For this week’s Polkadoodles crafting Digi Choosday challenge, I created a frosty blue Christmas card featuring Snowman Bella Christma digi from Polkadoodles. I challenged myself to skip the traditional red and green palette, and I’m actually happy with how this blue Christmas turned out!

Bella was colored using my Ohuhu Alcohol Markers, and the background was made with Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass and Aleene's Glitter Snow all from Bee Happy!

One of my favorite things about Cards By Kendra Kendra's Card Challenges is seeing how one paper collection can create so many unique cards using different sketches. Or to be exact, 6 6x6 pattern papers to 15 cards!

For this challenge, I couldn't choose just one element from the moodboard so I used all and created this interactive pop-up scene card.

Open the card to reveal a cozy little room with a pop-up sentiment, layered ephemera, a heart, a clock, and a cute little dog. I also designed the window to open, creating an extra space inside for a longer handwritten message.

For this card, I used Mintay's beautiful Graceful collection. I thought it was the perfect reminder that showing love and appreciation for another maker's work is an act of grace, just like what we are supposed to do in Mintay's FB Group Card Chain.

Break your Routine

For this challenge, I used Mintay's The Wedding Day collection, my very first time using it. This one is very pretty, but I kept saving it because I rarely make wedding cards and by the time a wedding comes around, I'm usually too busy to create one.

Then just to get into the breaking your routine mode, I challenged myself to make something completely different: a wedding gown-shaped card. I layered pattern papers from The Wedding Day collection with ribbons and lace to add texture and prettiness!
