We are taking a short break as we focus on our new roles as parents.

Yes, we’re pregnant! 🤎🤎🤎

We have been waiting and praying for this little one for so long, and we want to make sure everything is great, safe, and that we’re healthy more than anything else. That involves so many doctors’ appointments and tests. That’s why we have been MIA for the past few weeks and may still be for the coming month (or two 😉).

In line with this, we regret to inform everyone that we will not be able to accommodate same-day deliveries for now. Our Shopee store will remain open and you can still buy available candles, but restocks may take a while. We are still going to make it happen though, we promise!

For now, you can still message us for questions and for chika (haha), but please forgive us if we reply late. Thank you so much for your understanding. We will be back and ready to pour again before you know it. Stay safe everyone. Love and light 😘

Today is Lupus Awareness Day, and I’d like to tell you a short story — my story.

It was 2014 when we heard the news that I have Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE or Lupus). It was a hard hit for me because all of my dreams were put on hold. Growing up, I was always confident that I will be a doctor someday, but because of my condition it had to be put on the back burner.

It took years to accept it and move forward, but here I am today, making candles - doing what I love, and making something out of it. It is not what I have planned but it doesn’t mean it is any less fulfilling. In fact, the warmth and the reception you have shown our little brand alone makes it all worthwhile.

It is very difficult to have a chronic disease, let alone have an “invisible” one. You may see us well and okay, but we are smiling through our silent pain.

So please do me a favor?

If you know someone in your life who has a chronic condition, reach out to them. Remind them that it doesn’t make them any less of a person and that they are not alone. It will mean the world to them.
