(CCAPFT) is the business subsidiary of Community Crafts Association of the Philippines, Inc. (CCAP), a non-stock, non-profit organization formed in 1973 to assist community artisans in the development of products and market them. Formed in 1998, CCAPFT took over the export functions of CCAP. CCAP and CCAPFT has adopted Fair Trade as its business model and has since advocated for it with producers
and buyers as well. We are a Guaranteed Member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO). Our Theory of Change is Empowering Communities through Fair Trade and Resilient Enterprise Development. In 2018, the group updated its Vision-Mission to highlight that both organizations are Fair Trade advocates that specializes on developing partners both the artisans as well as the buyers. The newly-formulated Vision-Mission Statement is as follows:
Vision: We are a world class, market driven, and, leading Fair Trade organization. Mission: We LISTEN, LEARN, INNOVATE, and, CONNECT. As a Fair Trade organization, we are regularly audited every two (2) years by the WFTO to ensure that we comply with the Fair Trade Principles. These principles ensure that artisans are treated fairly, given fair payment and supported in their economic development. For over forty (40) years, this has been our business model and the partner-buyers that we have had all these years support us in this advocacy. Their patronage of the products supports the development of the rural artisan communities whom we engage. For wholesale export products, please contact us at [email protected].
