Made little by little over the past months, now, it’s finally ready to bloom. ❀

Introducing Fowliei, a collection of handmade sculptural katakuchis inspired by Paphiopedilum fowliei, a critically endangered lady slipper orchid found only in Palawan.

Drawing from the flower’s distinct shades of pink and green, each vessel is finished with a hand-sculpted and hand-painted orchid—no two quite ever alike.

Very limited pieces only.
Blooming August 19, 6PM.

Some of the best things about a place are made by the people who call it home.

And spaces become all the more meaningful when they hold the stories of its people, art, and community.

May there always be room for local stories to be shared. ♡

Literature, made to be held. ✍️

Sharing some handpainted ceramics from the 19th Palihang Rogelio Sicat held in Puerto Princesa City.

This year, PRS 19 introduced Sanib-Sining, a collaboration between literary and visual art where fifteen writing fellows translated their poems and reflections into hand-painted ceramics.

It was an honor to guide this workshop and witness your words find a lasting home in clay. Thank you to all the fellows for trusting us with your stories. 🤍

A little late sharing these, but I really enjoyed creating these Cuyonon cups for 's beverage tasting menu: an experience woven around the stories, flavors, and beauty of Philippine forests.

These vessels accompany their modern sikwate featuring chocolate from Brooke’s Point, Palawan, crafted together with the land, farmers, and .

Each cup carries a Cuyonon word thoughtfully chosen by the LICK team. From there, I explored their meanings through hand-carved details and layered glazes.

Always grateful for collaborations that allow craft, place, and storytelling to meet. ☕🍃
