Dumping all the photos because I had to take them in a hurry and I don't have one that shows off the color gradient.

I saw this pattern maybe more than a decade ago in a crochet magazine and I saved it at the back of my mind as one of those "someday" projects.. One day, I had the right yarn and the right person to gift it to. So here it is! My photos didn't do justice to the lovely gradient yarn from Ashley's Crochet though.

My sister asked me to clone her loose vest. As I tried my best to align the colors of the edging, I agonized over the thought of running out of yarn. I was preparing my script to beg for a matching yarn or wait for the next yarn posting. As it turned out, I have more than enough and I stressed myself by overthinking 😂

When I started crocheting, it never occured to me that it could be something difficult to learn (unlike embroidery 😂) Even when I'm working on something I knew I haven't tried before, I could easily figure it out. Like I said, it feels like a memory.
