How’s your life lately since the pandemic?

I’ve been in an on/off calligraphy hiatus over the last three years, I barely picked up my calligraphy pens because I lacked enough inspiration and motivation and got busy with my job. It has been a crazy love-hate relationship with my practice. Sometimes, I get a few wedding projects here and there, which I also forget to post here on instagram. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜… Then instagram also kept changing the algorithim where the calligraphy people I follow are hidden on my feed. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…

Few months ago, in my moments of frustration and struggle, someone told me β€œdo what makes you feel alive.” Back then, I never fully understood what he said. So I prayed and prayed, seeking God for answers. Whether it was my mind or my heart, one thing is clear, writing will always be my home, and what makes me feel alive is living and leading a creative life. So here I am slowly crawling out of my man cave to find my way back. Looking forward to learning more, practicing more, improving my penmanship and creating more projects. πŸ’• Cheers!
