Ang paggawa ng kampana ay isang sinauna at maselan na sining na may mga partikular na proseso:
Paghuhulma (Molding): Gumagamit luwad o buhangin upang likhain ang panloob (core) at panlabas (cope) na hugis ng kampana.
Pagtunaw at Pagbuhos (Casting):
Tinutunaw ang espesyal na timpla ng tanso
(bell metal) sa napakainit na pugon bago ito ibuhos sa hulma.
Pagtutono (Tuning): Kinataman o binabawasan ang kapal ng metal sa loob ng kampana upang makuha ang tamang nota o tunog nito.
