🌸 Celebrating the Women Behind Alima
This Women’s Month, we honor the incredible women who bring Alima Handicrafts to life.
Our story began in 1998, when Rose Nepomuceno founded Alima (formerly Silver Handicrafts) in Barrio Albasan. Inspired by the many hardworking mothers in the community who wanted to support their families, she started training local women to create beautiful and durable handcrafted Nito pieces.
Today, hundreds of women artisans continue this tradition — weaving not only baskets and home décor, but also stories of strength, resilience, and empowerment.
Every Alima product you bring into your home supports Filipino craftsmanship, sustainable livelihoods, and women’s economic empowerment.
✨ This Women’s Month, celebrate the hands that weave tradition into every piece.
