There is something incredibly special about a student choosing to come back and learn from you again.
She joined my first chalk paint class and seeing her return for a second class—this time creating this beautiful trunk—felt like one of those quiet moments that remind you why you love teaching.

As a teacher nothing feels more rewarding than seeing your students grow, gain confidence and trust you enough to come back for more.

When a student returns it feels like a little validation that you’ve done something right. And for a teacher that is an achievement in itself.

You would NEVER believe this was her first time!
This stunning trunk was created by a truly talented lady with a heart of gold.

She embraced every technique with so much enthusiasm, joy and confidence that I was genuinely amazed. From the beautiful colour blending to the seamless application of the rice paper, every little detail was done with such patience and finesse.

Seeing a first-time student create something this beautiful is honestly one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.
