Some women become icons. Others become part of the cultural memory of a country. 🇵🇰✨
For this chapter of Gulbaan’s celebration of Pakistani women, we look back at Noor Jehan, the legendary Malika-e-Tarannum.
Born in Kasur in 1926 into a family of musicians, Noor Jehan began performing as a child and went on to become one of the most influential voices in South Asian music. She was not only a celebrated singer and actress, but also became the first female film director in Pakistan with Chann Wey in 1951.
Her voice became deeply woven into Pakistan’s cultural history. From the songs that defined an era of cinema to the patriotic melodies she sang during the 1965 war, Noor Jehan left behind a legacy that continues to resonate across generations. ❤️
She was bold, expressive and unmistakably herself. Her voice, style and presence helped shape an era, and that spirit of Pakistani femininity, confidence and timeless beauty is what inspired this chapter of our collection.
Inspired by the women who shaped our screens, our songs, our stories and our sense of style, we bring you Gulbaan’s Floral Jewellery Collection. 🌸
Three sets, created with flowers and designed to be worn as more than just adornment. A little tradition, a little nostalgia and a whole lot of Gulbaan. ✨
Because flowers have always been part of the way we celebrate beauty, femininity and our most special moments. So why not wear them? 🌷
The collection is now LIVE on our website. Shop your favourite floral jewellery and have it delivered across Lahore and Islamabad. 🛍️🌸
