Przebudowa hali targowej „Okrąglak” z 1927 r. autorstwa J. Weinbergera wpisanej do rejestru zabytków (A-170/M, pl. Nowy 4B, hala targowa tzw. „Okrąglak”, 19.12.2008).
Planowane przeznaczenie na delikatesy i restaurację z daniami regionalnymi. Założono rozbiórkę stoisk z lat 90 XX w., usunięcie gipsowych psedoportali, wymianę stolarki, budowę otwartej kuchni wraz z antresolą. Geometria nowych form podkreśla unikatowy dwunastokątny, koncentryczny plan budynku, zaś surowy wystrój wnętrza nawiązuje do dawnego przeznaczenia obiektu – jatki drobiu. Inwestycji towarzyszy: przystosowanie dla osób niepełnosprawnych, podniesienie stopnia ochrony przeciwpożarowej oraz poprawienie standardu energetycznego i sanitarnego m.in. poprzez wyposażenie w instalację wentylacji nawiewno-wywiewnej z klimatyzacją i rekuperacją.
Niestety po uzyskaniu prawomocnej decyzji o pozwoleniu na budowę Inwestor po naciskach lobby gastronomicznego zrezygnował z realizacji. W późniejszym czasie do budynku przy pl. Nowym miało zostać przeniesione kino Ars co również zakończyło się niepowodzeniem. Jednakże wykonano część prac.

Reconstruction of the "Okrąglak" market hall from 1927 by J. Weinberger entered in the register of monuments (A-170 / M, pl. Nowy 4B, the so-called "Okrąglak" market hall, 19/12/2008).
Planned purpose for a delicatessen and a restaurant with regional dishes. Demolition of stands from the 90s of the 20th century, removal of plaster pseudoportals, replacement of woodwork, construction of an open kitchen with mezzanine floor were assumed. The geometry of the new forms emphasizes the unique twelve-sided, concentric plan of the building, while the raw interior design refers to the former purpose of the building - poultry slaughterhouse. The transformation included also: adaptation for the disabled, increasing of the fire protection level and improving the energy and sanitary standard by equipping with an air supply and exhaust ventilation system with air conditioning and recuperation.
Unfortunately, after obtaining a final legally binding permit for the construction, the Investor resigned from its implementation after pressure from the gastronomic lobby. Later, to the building at Plac Nowy square Ars cinema was to be moved, which also ended in failure. However, some work has been done.
