Wyspa została zaprojektowana jako monolityczny element kuchni. Całość wykonano z naturalnego kamienia, dzięki czemu bryła zyskuje wyraźny ciężar, spójność i bardzo czysty rysunek.
Kamień przechodzi przez blat i boki bez wizualnego rozbijania formy. To rozwiązanie porządkuje przestrzeń i nadaje jej bardziej architektoniczny charakter. Jasna powierzchnia dobrze pracuje ze światłem, pokazuje subtelne użylenie materiału i buduje spokojne tło dla pozostałych elementów zabudowy.
Ważna była też funkcja. Wyspa łączy strefę roboczą z miejscem do codziennego siedzenia, dlatego ma prostą, czytelną formę i dobrze wpisuje się w rytm całej kuchni. Ciemne hokery, delikatne podświetlenie i lekkie oświetlenie nad blatem domykają kompozycję bez przeciążania wnętrza.

The island was designed as a monolithic element of the kitchen. Made entirely of natural stone, it gives the space a strong sense of weight, cohesion and a very clean visual line.
The stone continues across the top and sides without breaking the form. This approach brings order to the space and gives it a more architectural character. The light surface works well with natural and artificial light, revealing the subtle veining of the material and creating a calm background for the rest of the cabinetry.
Function was equally important. The island combines a working area with a place for everyday seating, which is why its form remains simple, clear and well integrated into the rhythm of the kitchen. Dark stools, soft underlighting and the light fixture above complete the composition without overloading the interior.
It is a detail that shows how much can come from the consistent use of a single material.
