Fall is definitely my favorite season to make for. 🍂

The colors, the fabrics, the balsam, the scents, the woods, the chill in the air, the crispiness... all of it.

I pulled a bunch of products together into one Fall Favorites collection so they’re easy to find — seasonal sachets & room sprays that have been flying out of here lately (**yes, I am RESTOCKED!**), fun and spooky designs, including some great ones embroidered by my cousin and filled by me, plus a few other fall favorites.

....Behind-the-scenes in this chaos of a studio....
-Made and shipped out custom state of Tennessee sachets to Robin's on Roan and I LOVE how they turned out! (THANK YOU MEREDITH!!!)
-Played with more machines and ground up more balsam
-Shipped out restocks to several stores including Down East Magazine, and The Mangy Moose....
-Made and shipped some LOL RODENT RESISTANT SACHETS to my bff in NY (cause nothing says I care or i miss you like a RODENT RESISTANT SACHET!!!!!)
- MADE BAKED ZITI... And no, I didn't get pics of that.
It's gone...
Talk about Makers gonna Make!!!!! ALL THE THINGS, all day, everyday 😆

I’ve been taking things apart since I was about five.

Back then: clocks.
Now: sewing machines. 😂

I actually keep four sewing machines set up and ready to go in the studio, but the ones I use for my larger sachets need a little… modifying.

The sachets are about 2–3" thick once they’re stuffed, so they can catch on the auto threader and buttonholer while I’m stitching them closed. Worse, if a sachet bumps either one mid-stitch, things can shift around near the needle and cause ALL kinds of mayhem.

My solution? Those parts had to go. 😆

More room to work, nothing for the sachet to snag on, and a machine that works better for the job I actually need it to do.

I’ve done this before, but with my busiest season about to kick into full swing, I wanted a second one set up the same way.
Sometimes the equipment just needs to catch up with the workflow. 😂

🌲Shipped out an incredibly heartfelt custom order this morning.
Using the same fabric as the sachets, I made coordinating gift bags for this amazing customer as well. 🤍
