The bathroom came first. It was the room that set the tone for everything that followed.
I wanted something dark. Alive. The tiles from .factory are handmade, no two the same, the kind of surface that holds light differently at noon than at dusk. I chose the deepest shade and didn't look back.
The mirror was a find. Capodimonte, discovered in a barn outside Zamość. The lamp beside it is by .studio, hand-blown glass, the kind of object that feels like jewelry. A perfect conversation between the two. One found by chance, one chosen with intention.
I like contrasts. Hard and soft. The steel basin against a gathered curtain in textured fabric underneath. Something structured, something that gives the whole thing a little softness.
I'm not sure "romantic" was ever in my brief. But this room became exactly that. Soft. Feminine. A little unexpected.
Maybe that's what happens when you stop following the plan.
