Remember our epic fail with this mould? Back then, we didn’t realise the wick hole was too wide — you can find the video on our account. We ended up spending the evening cleaning up.

But that’s no reason not to try again. We learned from our mistakes and sealed the hole with beeswax. Why beeswax? It won’t harm the wick, and beeswax has a higher melting point than soy wax. So it should work.

What would you have done?

We’re testing a new candle mould. We’re pouring in white beeswax.

For the next 12–14 hours, the candle will cool, set, and stabilise. Then we’ll definitely show you the “unmoulding” process. We have some doubts about this mould, so we’re just as eager to see how it turns out.
