Happy 2026 🥂 🥳 🎊🍾🎉

Here’s to an abundance of plants in the new year and what better way to get that started then with a neighborhood plant swap & potluck!

Please save the date:

Saturday Jan 10th 1:30-3:30pm

FREE but limited to 15 people so pre register if you would like to attend!

I’ll be thinning out the garden and clearing some areas for new installs and will have lots of plants to give away including:

*Banana pups 🍌*due to a back injury you will need to dig these up yourself 🙃

*baby trees (several varieties) 🌴

*pineapple plants 🍍

*aloe cactus & other desert border varieties 🌵

& some other fun surprises 🪴

Feel free to bring any plants you want to swap (or just bring a dish to share and take some plants!) and bring some boxes & containers just in case I run out.

Feel free to bring kids & well mannered dogs (the yard is fenced in), a swim suit & towel if you wanna hop in the pool and if anyone wants to do an ice bath we’ll have that going as well 🐻‍❄️ 🧊

Limited to 15 peeps so please DM if you’d like to come

Here’s to an awesome new year of growing all the things

✌️ ❤️ 🪴

Grateful to be making flower arrangements for friends businesses. Our little town is run entirely by small business and sadly the wealthy investors are trying to illegally control Rincón’s cherished coast lines and push even more locals out of town.

As our town fights hard to stop the illegal destruction and development we are all also working overtime to run businesses alongside protesting, filing injunctions and sharing as many posts as possible with the hopes that someone with higher powers notices and can get mainstream coverage and litigation on a higher level.

It’s only day one of protesting again after a 6 month hiatus and it’s already getting ugly. Here’s to flowers as a brief distraction that nature will always be the most powerful and beautiful force on this planet and no amount of concrete makes destroying it worthwhile. Let’s the battle begin and thanks for reading this far.

Also pictured…my new favorite garden tool - the Japanese serrated sickle…absolutely amazing and game changing for slicing through the jungle. I just took down a banana plant with it as well 💪 ⚔️ 💪

Thank you and for bringing a piece of the garden literally into your homes for your customers to enjoy 🤗 May we always be reminded what we fight to protect.

Big thanks to the amazing staff at who saw Oso last minute yesterday and dealt with the absolute eruption out of both ends from Petey (who wasn’t even the reason we came to the vet, he was just supposed to be moral support for Oso who had to have anesthesia).

The staff was unbelievably attentive and so sweet, even smiling while cleaning up not one or two incidents out of Petey but more like 15 eruptions (yes it was really that bad 🤢 💩🙃)

Both dogs are doing well thanks to Dr. Mel and her team and I can’t recommend them enough, especially if you have an emergency as was the case with Oso.

If only Hallmark had a card that said “Sorry my dog pooped everywhere and threw up 10 times while you were trying to take care of my other dog that was actually the one who was hurt”…but until they do, flowers will just have to do as a small token of gratitude 💐🐾

What a pleasure (and a whole lotta work!) it is to witness a tropical garden after 6 months of rain 💕

So happy to be back and clearing off the vines to reveal all sorts of new plants and flowers buried below!

All bouquets for the next week will be super sized as I try to clear out pathways and open up the canopy so get ready for lots of colors popping!

Looking forward to all the future arrangements and collaborations that this season has in store.
