Born from a residency at Burel Factory, Ariana Orrico’s collection now arrives at ModaLisboa, breathing new life into materials through an experimental and considered approach.

Through patchwork, the repurposing of surplus blanket production materials, and explorations into material behavior, each stage became an opportunity to uncover new possibilities, textures, and forms.

Today marks the beginning of Moda Lisboa – Lisbon Fashion Week.

Burel Factory is proud to support the next generation of Portuguese designers from “Sangue Novo” with a Burel Factory Residency. Last year’s winner, Ariana Orrico, joined us in the Serra da Estrela, developing a full collection through an exploration of our materials and new techniques. A must-see!

Next Friday, that journey comes to life at Pátio da Galé at 7:30 PM.

Burel Factory follows what comes next.
