Horn does not react with caviar. This spoon is carved from it by hand, so the flavour reaches the palate exactly as it was in the tin, completely unaltered.

In white marble, the grain changes from one spoon to the next. GOA Specials mark twenty years of Goa and are crafted by artisans in Vietnam.

Manuel Aires Mateus designs by removing matter until only the essential remains, and AM comes from the same gesture applied to the classic Portuguese place setting: the inherited form, pared to the bone, reduced to what is left once everything unneeded is taken away.

Color is something you should be able to feel.

With Goa, deep violet runs the length of the resin handle, meeting brushed gold with an effortless, striking contrast. There is a quiet science to it: violet sits right at the edge of the visible spectrum, the very last hue human eyes can perceive.

Placed beside it, the gold catches a richer, warmer light. Proof that great design is often in how two simple elements completely transform each other.

The first thing people notice about Goa is the balance. The broad resin handle looks substantial, but the moment you pick it up, it feels surprisingly light in the hand.

When the design began in 2004, it started as an experiment in pairing two materials rarely seen together at the table. To keep the aesthetic understated, the 18/10 stainless steel receives a careful brushed finish before the gold plating is applied. The result is a soft, warm glow rather than a harsh mirror reflection.

Pink brings an unexpected, quiet softness to a place setting, and it is just one of thirteen distinct shades crafted for the collection.

Savoring the last days of summer with deep blueberry notes and the tactile elegance of Goa Violet.

Our ongoing collaboration with Marupiu Pâtisserie ® continues to celebrate the art of pairing taste with thoughtful design.

To complement this seasonal creation, we selected two pieces designed by José Joaquim Ribeiro: the slender long drink spoon, crafted to reach effortlessly to the bottom of tall glasses and coupes, and the classic teaspoon in a warm gold finish.

The die holds the shape long before the steel does.

It carries the profile of the handle and the curve of the bowl in negative, and everything marked on it will be repeated in every piece that passes through.

So each die is cleaned and retouched, one by one. A single mark left on its surface would travel into the steel and stay there. Clear lines begin with a clean tool.

Great design is meant to be felt, tasted, and experienced.

We partnered with Marupiu Pâtisserie ® to explore the quiet dialogue between fine pastry and timeless cutlery. Helmed by Ana Patrícia Correia, awarded the Prix au Chef Pâtissier 2023 by the International Academy of Gastronomy, and Rui Gusmão Correia, Marupiu approaches each creation with raw honesty, from whole fruit to the final, hand-finished detail.

Our collaboration is an ongoing exploration of form and function. It begins with capturing these fleeting moments of edible art, and continues through the design of dedicated Cutipol pieces tailored specifically to the way these delicate desserts are savored.
