Why we use Soy Wax

Soy wax is plant based and made from a renewable source. We love its creamy finish and how beautifully it performs in our hand poured candles.

Compared with paraffin wax which is derived from petroleum soy wax can produce less visible soot under certain burning conditions. It’s also vegan friendly and offers a plant based alternative to some other traditional candle wax

For us it’s about choosing a wax that combines beautiful results with more thoughtful material choices.

A moment to pause between what has been and what is yet to come.

Inspired by Samhain, the ancient seasonal festival marking the transition from harvest into winter and the turning of the seasons this intimate experience brings together candle making and oracle card readings to explore what we wish to carry forward, what we are ready to release and what we want to set intentions for in the season ahead.

Through personal oracle guidance and the creation of your own intention led candle, you’ll have the opportunity to reflect, reconnect and give a little light to what comes next.

We’ve got some exciting changes coming next week ✨

We’re adding a new Wednesday evening Candle Making Workshop, introducing our Wax Melt Workshop on Friday mornings, and moving our Saturday Candle Making Workshop to the morning.

We wanted to create more options for those who prefer a slower start to the day, or simply can’t make our afternoon and evening sessions. Think candle making, a little creative time to yourself and then out into Lisbon for brunch afterwards.

We love all things pastel and floral, creating a calm and beautiful space to slow down, get creative and enjoy some time for yourself.

Whether you join us for a morning or an evening workshop, we think it’s a rather lovely way to spend a little time in Lisbon.

A candle in the middle of its setting, and we couldn’t love this sight more. There’s something wonderfully calming about slowing down, choosing your fragrance and taking the time to create something with your own hands.
