There’s something comforting about a small light glowing beside the bed at the end of the day.
This is actually my favourite — and probably not the most obvious — place for ceramic candle houses: the bedside table.
I love lighting them before sleep. Even though they could easily be seen as Christmas decor or something made for a fireplace mantel, in my home they always end up beside the bed.

I used to overlook how painterly my balcony is, thinking I was limited because I didn’t have my own studio.
But over time, I learned to find corners where I can create.

I smooth the surface with a sponge, refining the shape until it feels just right.

While I was editing this video, the voiceover — a man listing women’s names — started to feel strangely unpleasant to me. I even caught myself wondering a few times whether I should post it at all. But since it’s already edited, I’ll leave it here.
I don’t know where this clip is from or what film it belongs to, but for some reason it carries an uncomfortable undertone for me. Maybe some of you recognize it — perhaps it’s actually from a film with a decent, kind, and courteous gentleman. I’d be genuinely curious to know.
