There’s something comforting about a small light glowing beside the bed at the end of the day.
This is actually my favourite — and probably not the most obvious — place for ceramic candle houses: the bedside table.
I love lighting them before sleep. Even though they could easily be seen as Christmas decor or something made for a fireplace mantel, in my home they always end up beside the bed.

I used to overlook how painterly my balcony is, thinking I was limited because I didn’t have my own studio.
But over time, I learned to find corners where I can create.

I smooth the surface with a sponge, refining the shape until it feels just right.
