🇵🇹 A semana passada mostrámos o cobogó Volta em cru, em estúdio.

Bem aplicado, brilha 🤌🏼

🇬🇧 Last week, we showed the Volta breeze block in its raw form, in the studio. And asked you to imagine these pieces in the right setting.

Today, you no longer have to imagine 😍

The arch that caught the eye in a small arrangement takes on a new presence when repeated and made part of the architecture. The ceramic brings texture to the space, light passes through the openings, and the piece reveals its full potential at the scale of a project.

It already looked beautiful in the studio. In the right setting, it shines 🤌🏼

🇬🇧 A façade like this is hard to ignore 🤌🏼

In La Xara, Alicante, architecture studio combined Vibra 1 and Vibra 2 breeze blocks in a project where ceramics take centre stage among simple lines and white walls.

The two pieces work so well together that it’s hard to imagine this façade any other way. A combination thoughtfully conceived and beautifully executed.

This is what excites us: knowing our pieces so well and still being surprised by the way they are used 💚

🇬🇧 After watching this video, it’s only natural to want to pick up one of these pieces. Run your fingers over its texture, turn it in your hands, choose another and come back to the first.

In the Terracota collection, discovery begins with the natural tones: the familiar red and the softer sandy shade. It continues with the shapes, from classic to sculptural.

If you’d like to see them in person, we completely understand 💚

Some projects go beyond the use of materials — the material itself becomes part of the identity of the space.

At this restaurant, our Natural Terracotta Cobogó, in a warm Sand tone, was used in two different settings: indoors and outdoors. A choice that turns the cobogó into a defining element of the project, creating a strong visual connection between both spaces.

Inside, indirect lighting placed behind the wall creates a beautiful interplay of light and shadow, highlighting the geometry of the cobogó and bringing a warm, welcoming and comfortable atmosphere to the restaurant.

But a cobogó can be much more than a way to divide spaces.

It can act as a second skin for a wall, adding depth, texture and a three-dimensional quality that completely changes the way the wall is perceived.

From indoors to outdoors, the same language.
One element, two atmospheres.

🇬🇧 This project is so good it almost feels unreal. But it isn’t. ✨

In Zwijnaarde, Belgium, everything seems to have been designed to work together: the architecture, the natural tones, the vegetation and a ceramic façade that completely changes the way we see the building.

And that façade is precisely where the ACUS cobogó comes in.

When an architecture studio designs its own workspace, we imagine no choice is entirely accidental. So seeing ACUS take on such a prominent role in the project feels particularly good. 💚

Here, ACUS doesn’t feel like something added to the architecture. It feels like it was born with it.

And perhaps that is the best result a piece can achieve in a project: to stop being just a choice and become part of the space’s identity.

🇬🇧 We’re having a hard time saying goodbye to summer. Can you tell? ☀️

In Mallorca, Tétris found a setting that’s hard to beat.

Part of the terracotta collection, this cobogó moves away from perfectly ordered geometry. Its diagonals and irregular shapes allow for compositions full of rhythm, movement and character.

In this project, Tétris appears across balconies and circulation areas, creating privacy without closing off the space. Light passes through the openings, casting shadows that shift throughout the day.

And there’s one reference that helps explain Tétris particularly well: Gaudí. His experiments with ceramic fragments are behind this irregular, modular logic, where the way the pieces are combined can completely change the final result. 💚

🇬🇧 Opening boxes of ceramics is still more fun than we ever imagined.

This time, two completely different pieces, but with the same effect: they make us want to take a closer look.

And luckily, there are still more unboxings to come 💚

🇬🇧 Outdoor projects that inspire us 🤌🏼

For the energy renovation of the CICYTEX Agricultural Research Institute in Guadajira, DUNAR Arquitectos wrapped a 1940s building in a new skin of ceramic screens.

The ceramic screen filters direct sunlight, creates shaded areas and frames the entrances, while completely transforming the way the façade is perceived. At the same time, it brings an element deeply rooted in the region’s traditional architecture into a contemporary language.

There is something we particularly like about this approach: taking a geometry as elementary as the square and bringing it to the scale of an entire building.

That is also why we find the Square model from the TRAMA collection such an interesting solution for outdoor applications.

A simple shape. A result that is anything but. 🤌🏼

🇬🇧 Who said wall cladding has to behave? 😏

Hexa goes up, down, breaks off and appears again. The different heights of the pieces take the wall beyond a flat surface, creating volume, rhythm and depth.

It’s a 3D wall covering from our Cement Collection, available in different tones and finishes, and it can cover an entire wall or just part of it.

But looking at these images, we have to admit we especially like it when it’s given the freedom to move away from the obvious.

A little less structured. And it can become even more interesting.

How would you use Hexa in your project? 🥰
