Scarlleta Rose, is a 2 person Team that share a huge love of Upcycling, Styling on a Budget, DIY & of course Frenchic Chalk Paint. At the start of 2022 - Chloe & Jack decided to jump all in and turn their passion into a full time vibe, turning one of their annexs into a creative Workshop and applying to become Stockists. Fast forward to 2023 - 1 annex became 3, countless Upcycled Pieces, Consulations, Styling Projects and more pots of paint than we can count.

Normally all our benches are complete Jack creations, this one however was preloved, but with it coming to us in such a sorry state that Jack once again had to work his magic fixing, tightening and replacing half of the original bench anyway... So in the end, it may as well have been a Jack creation after all.

Painted in a lovely tropical green that changes shade as the lighting changes throughout the day, due to its size its ideal for any garden, patio or balcony space.

- The power of paint 🤎

This Commissioned double bed frame was taken in on our Bloom Package, so cleaned and sanded with a few minor areas filled with our carbon filler, then once cleaned it was painted in this gorgeous greige shade to match the matching bedroom set we posted previously.

Once again, photos were taken before items were wrapped and due to owners house refurbishment we probably won't see this put together till later in the year.

But doesn't the paint colour just do it justice!?

What does a Furniture Artist do when she takes a week off from Commissions... Let's her mind wonder, and her hands create.

This bedroom set is all handmade, merging an English pine chest of drawers with a pair of Portuguese pine bedside tables, it is a set that is built to last, but now with just that little extra touch of cottage botanical elegance.

Due to its on trend neutral palette its perfect for master bedroom, guest bedroom or even child to teenagers room

Another simpler commission piece transformed and once again proving that not every commission we take in has to eccentric, large or even a long process.

Taken in on our Blossom Package, this chair has been cleaned, painted and then waxed for extra durability as it's owner spends a lot of his time sat in it... Swipe for a before photo.

These are our biggest and most decorative pair to date and definitely my current personal favourite, I just know they would look stunning on a sideboard or on bedsides

We've taken photos without the lampshade to show you the layered detail of the bases a little better, but even so the photos do not do them any justice.

These lamps are complete and include the lamp bases, lampshades and even the lightbulbs so all you have to do is plug them in. The lampshades have been freshly cleaned and smell amazing, but 1 does have a small stain we unfortunately couldn't get out.

- Nothing quite like a bright blue statement 💙

As this 3 door 3 drawer wardrobe was delivered back wrapped up and put straight into storage due to the clients house renovations, we won't see it fully put together for a good couple of months, but isn't the colour stunning, and paired with the new black four leaf clover handles it has a much more sophisticated look to it.

This wardrobe was taken in on our Blossom Package, which means it's only cleaned and painted, but if you've been paying attention to our stories, you would of seen me give it a very quick scuff by hand just because I knew it would benefit me whilst trying to lay down the first coat of paint as the surface was quite sleek and shiny (if you scroll to the last photo you'll see how this wardrobe was originally).

- These rather elegant pair of bedside tables, were also delivered yesterday ⚜️

Our clients already had the blanket box we posted yesterday with us waiting to be transformed, and by chance they just happened to see these posted in our stories as new inventory available for client customisation and what can I say the rest is sort of history...

Lovely pieces to work on as they're nice and curvy and full of detail, yet still quite solid in build. Timelessly elegant in a blue and white combination, with the original handles cleaned up and kept (just put the right way up - check the last clip for a before)

- We delivered the prettiest Blanket Box delivered today 🎀

This beauty, was a Curated Commission, we sourced and purchased on behalf of our clients (and of course with their approval first!) It has roots in Angola, is solid wood and was all handcarved.

Transforming it was indeed a labour of love, as when we collected it we were informed the previous owners had smothered it in vasaline to make it shine, and under that it was heavily covered in varnish AND wood stain!

Worth all the work! And looks fabulous in our clients Guest apartment bedroom 🌸

- A little behind the scenes on this desk restoration 🌟

This clients desk required a lot of TLC, most of which we were so focused on getting our hands dirty - literally and getting it done, we didn't actually film any of it 😅

But hopefully the clips of us staining, dying and finishing give you a little look into its time with us and how we completed the furniture restoration process.
