Deves começar por procurar algo de estranho ou diferente na tua mama, como altos, inchaços, massas, algum tipo de edema ou algo que não seja normal para ti. Como é que o podes fazer? Desde a tua mama até à zona da axila, procurando a mesma coisa, e indo inclusive à zona da clavícula. Sempre que encontrares algo que não é normal para ti, deves procurar ajuda de um profissional de saúde.

You should start by looking for anything unusual or different in your breast, such as lumps, swelling, masses, any type of edema, or anything that doesn’t feel normal to you. How can you do this? Check from your breast up to the armpit area, looking for the same signs, and even the collarbone area. Whenever you find something that doesn’t feel normal to you, you should seek help from a healthcare professional.
