Meet Daniel Ferreira, O-Pitblast’s Solutions Engineer & Executive Account 🚀
We are pleased to announce that Daniel has joined our team.
With a background in Mining Engineering and a Master’s degree in Geotechnics, Daniel combines technical expertise with a strong interest in how engineering, data, and technology can improve Drill & Blast operations.
Throughout his career, he has worked in areas such as quarry planning, geophysical investigations, seismic monitoring, geological modeling, geospatial data analysis, and field operations.
Daniel’s connection with O-Pitblast began during his academic internship, where he developed his master’s thesis focused on Mine-to-Mill optimization software for quarry operations. He is also co-author of the ISEE paper “Mine-to-Mill Improvements Anchored in Drilling Accuracy.”
Now returning to the company in a new chapter, Daniel will support clients in identifying operational improvement opportunities and implementing digital solutions that make Drill & Blast processes more efficient, data-driven, and reliable.
We are thrilled to have Daniel back with us and excited for the experience, energy, and innovative mindset he brings to the team. We look forward to this new chapter together!
