For sale!

This is a gorgeous, snappy and shinny Continental Standard from the 1940s.

It has a glossy black finish and chrome-ringed keys. It was considered a robust machine for writers and professional typists.

It produces a beautiful and crisp print, with steady action and typing speed. It is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition.

It will be sold with a new ribbon, installed at the time of purchase. Packaging will be done with extreme care, using a double rigid cardboard box and sturdy internal protective materials.

250 € + shipping. From Sintra, Portugal, to anywhere in the world. Send a DM in case you're interested!

This is a red Gossen Tippa with a Portuguese QWERTY keyboard.
A wonderful gift from a generous friend.
It is part of my permanent collection — never to be sold.

One of my typers of choice is this generation of Smith-Corona Sterlings/Clippers. Smooth, yet steady; and its printing is soft, yet crisp.

The most beautiful I have ever seen has a light blue body. It belongs to a dear friend of mine I haven't seen, talked or wrote to for way too long. The handle of its case had lead and gave this friend of mine a horrible skin condition in his hands that lasted for quite a while. He's a sensible poet with sensible skin.

Anyway, my written absence is something to correct soon enough using a silver-bodied version of this machine with a HCESAR keyboard.

Greyish-blue, mint green, two-tone grey, pearl-white, mint green (but bigger), orange or burgundy?

It was/is a Graphika, as Mr & Mrs Vintage Typewriters 👩🏻‍🏭👨🏻‍🔧 said. With the Reiner typeface, my favorite. It will soon be ready to get to work!

This is a skeleton.
Which machine does it belong to?

Still has all its tendons, veins and organs, so it is more than just a skeleton.
It is missing its skin.
I will place it back after fixing what is causing it to hiccup.
It shall be green and merry and rare once again.

This is a Re*****on Portable in a rare burgundy crinkled paint.
It lifts its typebars to write, afterwards lays them to rest as the mind wanders over the written thoughts.
That is what these machines — all of them — were made for.

This is a pearl.
A pearl-white Groma Kolibri.
A heavyweight among featherweight typewriters.
Light, thin, and yet so trustworthy.
And, in this case, so uncommonly beautiful.
