🇵🇹 Conservação e restauro da pintura mural a óleo da sacristia da Igreja de São Miguel em Alfama, Lisboa.
Como se a igreja não fosse já magnífica o suficiente, ainda tinha escondida esta pintura mural que se encontrava num péssimo estado de conservação.
Afloramentos salinos extremos e um muito avançado destacamento de policromia.
Está fase limitou-se apenas à limpeza, fixação e estabilização da pintura. Futuramente, ambiciona-se uma segunda fase para a reintegração cromática da obra.

🇬🇧 Conservation and restoration of an oil mural painting at the sacristy of São Miguel church in Alfama, Lisbon.
As if the church was not already magnificent enough, it also concealed this mural painting, which was in an extremely poor conservation state.
The painting was affected by severe salt efflorescence and extensive polychromy detachment.
This phase of the intervention was limited to cleaning, consolidation and stabilisation of the painting. A second phase, focusing on the chromatic reintegration of the artwork, is envisaged for the future.

Conservation & restoration process of an oil mural painting at Falls Hotel, Ennistymon, County Clare, Ireland for Shane Ralph . Extreme detachment of the polychromy due to the heat coming from the fireplace that had to be resolved in five days. Scroll to see the initial state.

Novamente na Irlanda com Shane Ralph a transformar estas paredes escuras num confortável calcário Mediterrâneo, assim como, tornar os tijolos brancos da lareira em tijolos com o vermelho tradicional de Dublin.
Clientes super satisfeitos, técnicas super rápidas e um excelente ambiente de trabalho. 🇵🇹
In Ireland again with Shane Ralph , turning these blackish walls into a warm Mediterranean sandstone, as well as turning the fireplace white bricks into traditional reddish ones.
Super happy clients, super fast techniques & great work environment. 🇬🇧
