A big thank you to Virginia Commonwealth University Qatar for welcoming Clements Interiors.

We had the pleasure of spending time with the Senior Interior Design students, sharing insights into FFE, workplace design, material selection, and how the right furniture, finishes, and details can shape the way a space feels and functions.

The session was also a great opportunity to see the students explore ideas through a hands-on workshop, ask questions, and connect design decisions to real project outcomes. It is always inspiring to see young designers think creatively, challenge the brief, and bring their own perspective to the future of interiors.

A special thank you to the VCU team for having us, and to everyone who helped make the session happen.

A project is never just one step.
It moves from drawings and discussions, to site checks, fixing, installation, and all the details in between.
Every stage needs follow-up, coordination, and re-checking before the space starts to take shape.

Shop drawings on site.

Checking dimensions, details, and notes before the next step begins.
A lot of the work happens here reviewing, marking, adjusting, and making sure the team is aligned.

This is how the drawings start turning into the real space.

Site work in progress.
Fixing frames, checking alignment, and making sure every detail is ready before the next layer goes in.
The drawings only work when the details are done properly on site.

Plans in hand, details on the way.

Drawings, revisions, site notes, and a lot of coordination before anything comes together on site. Every roll here carries decisions that need to be checked, adjusted, and followed through.

This is where the work really starts.

Where the business side meets the design side.

A business card, material samples, cut-outs, and finishes all in one frame. Before a project moves forward, these details help start the conversation and set the direction for the space.

On site with Clements.

Wall works, measurements, checking levels, and making sure each stage is ready before the next team comes in.

A lot happens between drawings and the final space.

Samples on the move.

Material boards, color options, and finishes going from the studio to the next discussion. These are the small pieces that help everyone see the direction before work continues on site.

A lot of decisions happen before anything is installed.

Material selection at Clements.

This stage is not just about choosing what looks good. Each finish is reviewed for texture, durability, color tone, edge detail, and how it will work with the lighting and the rest of the space.

Wood, stone, fabric, and solid surfaces all need to sit well together before they move from sample boards to site.

Small samples, but they shape the whole space.
