Two things people ask before going cool-toned.
"Will it feel cold?"

Cold comes from flat surfaces and ceiling light, not from the colour. Bouclé, linen or timber in front of a sage wall softens it immediately. 🌿

"My furniture is oak and cream. Won't it clash?"

That contrast is the point. Warm wood against a cool ground makes both look chosen rather than defaulted to. 🫆

The eye doesn't calm down in an empty room. It calms down in a rhythm, in something it can read once and then trust. That's why a fully patterned wall can feel more restful than a bare one.
