Turns out, Somnia Major was surprisingly hard to leave. 🪐

There were giant residents, a dedicated nap room, postcards sent back home, cocktails, music and quite a few reasons to miss the flight back to Earth.

The map is out. Tomorrow, we land. 🪐

After all the clues, print tests, questionable interplanetary logistics and a growing population of cats, Somnia Major officially opens its borders tomorrow.

Our new wallpaper collection, by Dream Prints × , is ready for its first visitors - and if there was an invitation heading your way, by now it should have landed safely. 💌

We’ll see you tomorrow at the Dream Prints office for an evening out of this world and well outside the usual colour spectrum.

Final preparations for Somnia Major are officially underway. 🪐

Boarding passes are being issued, invitations are finding their passengers, and the local residents have somehow made their way onto the stickers too.

Together with Cristina Bejan, we’ve been building this curious little world for months and on September 24th, we’re finally opening the gates for its very first visitors.

Consider this your unofficial departure notice. 🔭🧑‍🚀

And now, it’s coming off our printer. 👀

Characters are becoming residents, details are getting bigger, and the world we’ve been teasing is finally becoming real.

Here’s something we haven’t told you yet: Cristina’s contest piece had a name.

'The Art of Being Too Much.'

Back in April, it made her one of the two winners of our 'Put Your Head in the Clouds' wallpaper contest. A few months later, we have to admit: the title aged extremely well.

Because Cristina does too much rather brilliantly.

Too much colour to play it safe, too much imagination to settle for the obvious, and enough creative curiosity to make a single winning wallpaper feel suspiciously like a beginning of something so COOL 🌈

We kept creating together and Cristina became such a natural addition to our creative chaos that you’ve probably noticed her popping up around here quite a lot.

We’re now approaching the finish line of our first collection developed together with a young artist, and we’re finally ready to start giving you some clues.

If 'The Art of Being Too Much' taught us anything, it’s that sometimes more is, in fact, more.
