Why should a few nights away have all the luxury?

There’s a particular feeling you get in an exceptional five-star hotel. You close the door, take in the room, and immediately want to stay longer. That sense of indulgence was the starting point for this bedroom—brought into the intimacy of a private home.

The design begins with scale. Upholstery rises to the ceiling, wrapping the bed in soft, generous curves. Sculpted wood introduces depth and rhythm, while bronze accents trace the composition. Suspended glass lights draw the eye; concealed lighting follows the contours, giving the whole room a warmer, more intimate presence after dark.

Then come the details you experience up close: the grain of the wood, the rounded bedside tables, the rich mocha bedding, the softness beneath bare feet. A palette of cream, caramel and chocolate gives the room its richness without needing a single loud colour.

There is confidence in a bedroom that gives this much attention to pleasure. The atmosphere. The touch of a surface. The light you leave on at night. The temptation to cancel an early start.

Private, sensual, unapologetically luxurious.

Because the room you return to every night deserves to be as extraordinary as the places you dream of escaping to.

A living room that draws your eyes up and invites you to settle in.

The generous ceiling height gave us room to explore bold proportions, curved surfaces and lighting suspended like sculpture. Below, a deep blue sofa, warm wood and copper-toned niches bring the space into a more intimate scale.

Collectible pieces add a playful interruption to the precise architectural lines. Those unexpected details give a home its own voice.

What caught your eye first: the double-height space, the blue sofa or the sculptural lighting?

A kitchen with its own gravity.

At V Penthouse , the island anchors the room with a sculptural silhouette. Mineral textures meet warm wood, while black accents sharpen the composition. Light grazes the surfaces, revealing the subtle shifts in texture and depth.

The design holds its presence from across the room. Up close, the details take over.

SOME PIECES DEFINE A ROOM.

This desk was designed to be one of them.

Not simply a piece of furniture placed in the middle of the space, but something closer to a piece of architecture — heavy, sculptural and deliberately oversized.

Dark wood and strongly veined marble don’t simply meet; they intersect, creating different volumes and perspectives as you move around it.

I wanted it to have presence. To feel almost monolithic, but still refined enough to belong in a room filled with books, art and objects collected over time.

MY FUTURE OFFICE.

A little birthday gift to myself for when I turn 40.

A room for good music, old books, a proper wh**ky, a few ci**rs and, hopefully, fewer emails.

Designed exactly the way I imagine it: dark wood, deep marble, cognac leather, warm light and absolutely no compromises.

The good news?

Only six years left. 😅

Until then, I guess I’ll keep designing it.

CE NU SE VEDE LA FINAL CONTEAZĂ CEL MAI MULT.

În etapa asta a șantierului putem vorbi despre lucrurile care, peste câteva luni, vor dispărea complet în spatele finisajelor — dar care vor influența felul în care se va locui în casele MALAGO ani de zile.

Pentru pereții exteriori am ales YTONG Clima+ de 45 cm, o soluție de zidărie monostrat cu performanță termică foarte bună, care nu necesită termoizolarea suplimentară a întregii suprafețe cu polistiren sau vată minerală.

Este un material mineral, permeabil la vapori, care permite gestionarea mai naturală a umidității din perete și contribuie la reducerea riscului de condens și a condițiilor favorabile apariției igrasiei sau mucegaiului.

În plus, este incombustibil, clasa A1 de reacție la foc, și oferă o performanță acustică foarte bună — lucruri care se traduc direct în confort și siguranță pentru cei care vor locui aici.

În zonele în care zidăria întâlnește structura din beton, punțile termice vor fi tratate cu Multipor, o soluție minerală termoizolantă, permeabilă la vapori și tot clasa A1 la reacția la foc.

Împreună, aceste soluții contribuie la continuitatea anvelopei termice și la performanța energetică necesară unei case nZEB.

Pentru că eficiența unei case nu începe cu instalațiile sau cu finisajele.

Începe cu felul în care este construită.

LIGHT CHANGES EVERYTHING.

Aceeași piatră poate fi rece, grafică și precisă în lumina naturală, iar câteva ore mai târziu poate deveni caldă, profundă, aproape translucidă.

Baia aceasta a fost gândită exact în jurul acestei transformări.

Suprafețele minerale sunt puse în contrast cu lemnul, albul profilelor clasice și accentele metalice, iar iluminatul ascuns nu este doar ambiental — este parte din compoziție. Evidențiază textura, separă volumele și schimbă complet atmosfera seara.

Lavoarul realizat ca un volum continuu, mobilierul suspendat și cada freestanding păstrează geometria simplă, lăsând materialele să facă restul.
