PAPILA PAPILA is a small, big-hearted bistro with a creative Andrei Junghietu as head chef.

This vibrant living room is a gastronomical point of reference, brightening Bucharest’s food scene through friendly hospitality and genuine dishes. Besides the usual dinner menu, here are also recurring weekly events such as (Thursdays) OYSTERS JOY - serving oysters, champagne, and a seafood-oriented menu, and (Sunday) RAMEN SUNDAY - serving crafty ramen, and Japanese-inspired bites and desserts.

tuna crudo with stracciatella, seasonal veg and herbs

tender octopus, ajo blanco, honey fermented garlic, timut and cucumber

chicken liver parfait, buttered celeriac, garden tomatoes, aromatics

half dehydrated beetroot with rosehip dressing, aromatics and Horezu cheese - a hidden gem.

WE’RE ON AT Slow Coffee Festival this weekend! ready to feed y’all the fluffiest most nutritious-delicious sando sandwiches and the absolute legend Gulaş grilled cheese 🫠 find us at C21 stand, on the outer edge of the circle that is ROMEXPO - we’ll be sooo glad to see you ——->

we’ll be serving homemade brioche sando with soft chicken breast, tartare sauce, crisp bacon, romana salad, tomato and plum purée 🥪 🥓

then comes this veggie lord with homemade brioche bread, eggplant schnitzel, cream cheese, kale, plantain kimchi paste 🍌 🌶️

aaand the Gulaş grilled (on the spot) sandwich with beef, cheddar, grilled peppers and potato bread - a sizzling hot deligtful mess 🥩 🧀

+++ stocked up with homemade kimchi jars, cannot recommend this enough! an amazing batch that is.
