The interior concept of COCA Pizza Bar is based on exposing and stabilising the existing wall surfaces, used as a textured backdrop for a series of precise contemporary insertions. These include a continuous microcement bench, custom stainless-steel tables anchored into the bench structure, and integrated linear lighting that defines the seating geometry.
The Victorian tile flooring plays a central role in the composition, introducing order, rhythm, and durability while balancing the raw character of the exposed walls. A glass-brick installation acts as a secondary architectural layer, diffusing light and adding a vertical modular texture to the space.
Calibrated contrasts between raw surfaces and refined industrial elements — microcement, stainless steel, leather, and ceramic tiles — create a coherent contemporary interior defined by material honesty, geometric clarity, and the integration of existing fabric with new architectural elements. While the design references Naples as a point of cultural origin — a city associated with material directness and layered identity, including figures such as Diego Maradona — these influences are deliberately translated into spatial logic and material choices, ensuring the interior remains readable and adaptable beyond a specific cultural narrative.
