Documenting the journey to Cairo through on location drawing, this three-part reportage series captures the spatial dynamics of transit utilizing fine-line ink and colored pencil. Working within the physical constraints of the rear economy cabin provided a unique architectural perspective for the interior volume study, which is paired with focused, candid figure drawings documenting the posture and quiet geometry of fellow passengers. The visual narrative concludes with a transit study capturing the scale and pedestrian movement at Bole International Airport during a brief layover before the final connection to Egypt. It was a great pleasure to visit this historical building from Cairo. During the Afro-Arab share program, the participants got the chance to visit the city. This 17th century building was restored by Dr. Alaa Habashi and his wife, I was lucky to meet him in person!

When you're in Cairo, don't miss the opportunity to visit this space, they have a rare history you can't find anywhere, different programs and activities that engage you to make you feel back in the 1640s era!

Honored to have exhibited my original sketchbooks at the High-Level Dialogue organized by in partnership with the Union and , alongside the Ministry of Youth and Arts (MoYA), held at the Kigali Convention Center.

It was a meaningful experience to share my creative process—raw sketches, ideas, and visual stories—with such an inspiring audience of leaders, partners, and changemakers. Grateful to everyone who visited my stand and engaged with my work.

Art has a voice, and I’m proud to be part of conversations that shape the future.
