Tiny little entrance for tiny little feet when they come to celebrate All Hallow's Eve 🤗🎃
I actually started this one last year, didn't exactly have a vision for the final result, so I left it in the drawer until now. And now it felt just right to add some more layers and call it finished!

Darker outside, more magical inside!
Finding that the metallic colors are suddenly easier to catch on camera in the darkness, which feels very fitting for this sketchbook spread of a mossy little Witch's knoll.

Amazingly sparkling paints from Colors by ViTa - who are closing up shop at the end of the year so grab their paints right away!

Absolutely time for some golden orange! Trees have started to morph into fiery shades and the ground is littered with leaves in all shapes. It's a soft rustle to drag one's feet trough dry leaves allng the road and I love it. This painting is from last year, a sort of ode to the loveliness of silent fires and gently stirrig embers this time of year.

It currently sits on my wall shelf in the livingroom, crowned by a pre-school beaded spider, next to family photos and paper bats and a spooky branch.

It's October.

Another sweet, sweet little baby name piece, this time with an own in the colors of the forest. Loved making this! 😍
It's a flowing, watery technique with generous amount of pigment and water.

Painting white on white 🤭 using two of my all-time faves: Leather and White Mushroom from the Plum Pixie Palette by Art to Basic. Handmade eco-friendly watercolors and more . They are made for eachother (I would know, since I made the palette together with Mette - how cool is that, being able to say that? Five of five mushrooms!)
The ying and yang of the palette, I described them as once.

And combined.. soft and dramatic. Lovely granulation meets gentle roughness. How a white little mushroom can become so stunning.

Will never be too old to pick flowers 🤗 feeling very rich for being able to pick dahlias like this in my own garden, and that blackberry color.. yeah, it's just the best one of them. 😍

Sketchbook spread in honor of the very delicious fig marmalde my husband makes me this time of year 😆
He was sad he had to fill out with store bought figs this year, as the harvest from the garden was tiny to say the least, I was happy I could eat it!
And it makes for the best color combo to paint 😋

Abstract florals, tumbling along on vines. I'm really just having fun with deep, deep burgundy violet at the moment 😍

Mixing dark violet and black for my blackberries, and it looks like tiny thunder clouds 😍 picking and picking my fingers deep red at the moment, because all those berries ripen in masses as if the frost is not nocking on our door during some nights.

Another shimmering mushroom because these might be the funniest ones to date! To quote my 7yo - it's much more fun to paint from your imagination, because in there is so much funnier things like fairies and stuff. True, sweetheart, true.
