Stone Table / Sideboard
A remarkable Swedish country table from Skåne. The original ochre-painted base dates to the 18th century, featuring black detailing, turned baluster legs and a traditional stretcher frame. The tabletop, added in the late 19th century, is made from genuine Komstad limestone, a distinctive dark grey limestone quarried exclusively in the Österlen region of southern Sweden.

Stone Table / Sideboard

Painted Wall Cabinet
A signed and dated Swedish folk art cabinet from Järvsö, Hälsingland (1822). Preserved in its original paint, it showcases the region’s characteristic floral decoration, cloud marbling and bold palette of black, red and ochre. A beautiful example of early 19th-century Swedish decorative painting.

Wooden Chandelier
A 19th-century chandelier from southern Småland with sixteen wrought steel candle arms and turned wooden candle holders. The turned central stem retains its original dark stain, giving the piece a beautifully aged and authentic character.

Black Painted Stools
A pair of 19th-century stools from an old blacksmith’s forge in southern Småland. Finished in their original black paint, they have developed a rich patina through generations of everyday use, making each piece entirely unique.
