På lördag är det dags igen

Jag har föredrag om hattar och huvudbonader och dess tillverkning under medeltiden.
Klockan 11 på Gribshundens dag i Ronneby

“Hattar och dess tillverkning under medeltiden” kommer Linda Ersson, hattmakare på History&Hats att hålla föredrag om på Gribshundens dag den 29 augusti.

Linda är hattmakare och dräkthistoriker som specialiserar sig på historiska hattar, accessoarer och dess tillverkning. Om du efter föredraget känner dig sugen på att införskaffa din egen medeltida huvudbonad eller lära dig lite mer kommer Linda även stå på vår marknad under dagen.

Föreläsningen äger rum kl 11 på Kallvattenkuren. Ingen anmälan krävs.

Today I gave a talk at Halländska hembygdsrörelsen and Äskhults by folk dress day, with focus on Hallands costumes.
I got to talk about one of my favourite topics: headdresses and Hats!
I even had found a source for a bonnet that was said was from one of the farms at Äskhults village, so that was really fun to share!

Thank you to Hembygdsrörelsen and Äskhultsby for arranging this lovely day, and inviting me. And to everyone who was there, asked questions, share stories and discussed.

Due to the new EU regulations that come into force on the 12 August I have (temporarily) closed to webshop.

The new regulations regarding packing material is hitting us small business owners hard (and then also you as customers).
Some countries has exceptions for small businesses, but others, such as example Germany require registrations at several instances and fees.
This requires me to look into rules, regulations, registrations for all countries in Europe that I may sell to and until I know how this affects me, and in extension, you as customers, I closed the webshop.
But you are always welcome to send me an email or private message I just dont want to have paid orders waiting when I dont know if there will be extra costs due to this.

This does not affect Swedish customers.

A very fun project to work on has been LuQass Dark Stories Askungen that will once again play at Medeltidsveckan på Gotlandveckan på Gotland.
For the production, I was responsible for the costumes, working closely with the director to develop the costume concept. My work included sourcing garments, altering existing costumes, and constructing new costume pieces to help bring the characters to life.
I can tell you, without spoiling too much, the show (and costumes) are full of surprises!
That is also why it is so difficult to share photos of the actual costumes and props, to not give away to much. You will just have to come and see the show! Visa färre
