The problem isn’t the colour. It’s the light.
Every room gets different light depending on which way it faces, and that changes everything.

North-facing room → cold, flat light all day
•Warm colours look their best here
•Cool colours will feel even colder and grey

South-facing room → bright, warm light most of the day
•Can handle both warm and cool tones
•Even bold colours work here

East-facing → warm morning light, cold afternoons
West-facing → cold mornings, golden evenings
•Think about when you use the room most and choose color from that
