Who am I?
This picture might not be very representative of how I usually look, but this is actually what I look like today. Working with photo editing at my home office on a very sunny oktober day and without any curtains then a cap is needed. 😄
My name is Maud Andersson. I’m a potter and ceramic artist in Sweden. I have had my own studio since 1998. I do my own work there as well as teach evening and weekend classes in ceramics. Alternating between my own work and holding courses in the workshop makes my work varied, rewarding, and joyful. It also forces me to keep the workshop reasonably tidy, which is certainly a good thing. 😉
I have turned 56 years old last summer. I have a unmarried husband as I call him, Arne who have been my partner since 1991. We have three kids, who are now young adults. One doughter lives in Norway. Two are still in the house as well as their two black cats 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛. We live on my family’s farm on the country side between Stockholm and Uppsala. I love my family, my friends, art, craft, movies, plants, tarot cards, the stars on the dark sky and so much more. And tell me now, who are you? Do we like the same things?
