Some chapters are bittersweet to close, especially when they’ve been built with so much love.
From November, I’ll be handing over the memberstudio to Lulle, my right hand. A decision that comes with a lot of emotions, as this community has become so much more than just a studio to me. It’s something I’ve built from the heart, surrounded by incredible people, and many of our members have been here since day one.
Over the years, my career has taken a different direction, and I’ve been working towards a five-year vision that I’m incredibly excited about. With family life, a growing passion for focusing more on production, and everything else life brings, I’ve realised that I can’t pour myself into everything at once without spreading myself too thin. Sometimes, growing also means learning when to let go of something you love, trusting what you’ve built, and allowing it to grow in new ways.
I feel incredibly lucky to have been surrounded by such talented, kind and supportive people who have helped make this studio what it is today.
Now, it’s Lulle’s turn to lead the way, bring her own vision to life and take the studio into its next chapter, while I shift my focus towards new goals and the things I’m ready to create next.
This isn’t really a goodbye, but rather a new beginning. We’ll still be sharing the same street - which we now lovingly call Claystreet - and I’m so excited to see what this next chapter brings, both for the studio and for my ceramic future…
