Sit inside the light.
For Halo, our new project for Wittmann, we started from the idea of defining a personal space through form: an embracing volume that creates its own subtle boundary within the room.

The project builds on Wittmann’s tradition of proportion, comfort, and highly crafted upholstery, exploring how geometry and construction can work together to give the chair its character. The pleated surface became a key part of this research, allowing light to continuously reshape the volume and reveal its depth.

Halo is both presence and feeling: a quiet glow translated into a chair.

Our relationship with Wittmann began around 2018, with our first visit to the company. But our connection with Wittmann and its design legacy goes further back, through the work of Luca Nichetto’s former university professor Paolo Piva, one of the brand’s most important designers.

The collaboration grew closer over the years and, around 2020, evolved into the art direction of the brand. Together, we defined a direction rooted in craftsmanship, lasting quality and a dialogue between Wittmann’s Viennese heritage and our own Venetian background.

Although our role as Art Director came to an end a couple of years ago, the relationship continues. Seeing that the pillars we envisioned and shaped are still part of Wittmann’s trajectory today makes this collaboration particularly meaningful to us, creating the continuity from which new projects can still emerge.
